After having many..many family members and close neighbors lose money to Chinese sellers on Google shopping, I decided to launch an investigation, and was kind of suprised at what I found. Facts: - Almost 78% of all Google shopping listings are one of eight Asian sellers behind their collection of domains. - Most of the sites are drop-box shipping site fronts. - They all have non-US verified PayPal accounts..the people on the paypal accounts don't actually exist in the real world. example: Xiaobao Fu of shenzhen China, who ownes at least 4 major seller domains on Google shopping, infamous for non-delivery; probably best know by Chris from a gmail account now infamouse for successful scamming. - The Hack: They social engineer clientel for 90 days, after 90 days PayPal closes the transaction indefinatly and they have the money forever. Since they are under Asian governance their clientel are powerless, and because there is no filing system on PayPal after 90 days, their sites stay on Google shopping, and their PayPal accounts stay valid. As a unsatisfied customer you get a nice blacklist from *all* of their domain emails about 1 month in wether you try to contact them or not, which I could also prove with the data I have, thanks to the help of 20 other people who also got scammed. If it was allowed, I could easily show you how bad it is by posting a huge dump of fax, phone, cellphone numbers, chinese street addresses they use, english and american names they use under gmail, and of course the hive of domains each owns through various domain hosting services. It'd probably get deleted though.
