I am considering using the PayPal subscription button for my digital service, but I have one question. I was playing around with the PayPal Sandbox. I have two subscription packages that the user can choose from (Standard and Pro). They both cost different amounts. My test button has the two subscription options listed in the drop down with the prices for the user to pick one.
That works fine, but there doesn't seem to be a way for the user to change the subscription type after they have started the recurring payment. There also doesn't seem to be a way for the business account to change it for the customer upon request. It seems like the only way for the subscription to be changed other than the customer cancelling the subscription and starting up a new subscription. But this doesn't work in my case because then the billing period starts from the day they change the subscription.
With my service, you will be locked into your package for a month before you can change. So basically, I want the customer to be able to change their subscription package so that their billing cycle will continue on the same day it was originally planned, but starting on that upcoming billing cycle, they will be billed for the new package and price.

I have a PayPal button on my website for ordering a product. Usually when I receive an order, the payment status says "Completed", but I just got an order that says "Pending". I don't have the option to print a shipping label or anything, just the Archive option. Is it safe to fullfil this customer's order or do I have to wait until Feb 15 (the date PayPal says it's pending for) before I can safely fullfil this order without the possibility of the customer cancelling the payment? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I have a business PayPal account to sell goods online through our online store. I'd like to setup user accounts for them with restricted access so they can see orders and manage shipping, etc. I have one employee setup, but they are a remote employee and work from their home, not our business address. For the street address, I provided N/A and I simply supplied their province and postal code. When I was finished making the account, PayPal said I need to verify the user's account before they will have access. I clicked verify and it wants me to enter their occupation, which I don't have an issue doing and I simply selected their N/A address from the dropdown menu when it asked for that. However, it wants a phone number for that account. I don't even have a business phone number and I don't want to provide the employees personal number. Does PayPal actually need a valid number or can I just enter 123-456-7890 or 555-555-5555 to fill in that field so I can verify the account and give my employee access?
