Hello paypal community, I recently received a laptop bought off ebay shipped through their Global Shipping Program. It arrived with a broken screen at my door and the box had clearly been damaged. Pictures can't do it justice but all the sides were crushed and it was obviously cut down the side of the box instead of just cutting the tape which ruined the structural integrity of the box. Anyways. i immediately opened a dispute with pitney bowes on paypal but it automatically opened a dispute with the seller as well. Despite the seller doing nothing wrong. So I told her to just escalate it to a claim so that paypal would see that its just simply ebays global shipping program that should refund. But alas paypal keeps asking for more from the seller and last time i called they even said the seller disagreed with me despite her and I communicating and not disagreeing at all. Frankly this has been a long process (a week approximation) i know its not very long but i feel if they actually had reviewed it rather than just asking the seller for more and more info that this could have been done by now. So how can I convince paypal this has nothing to do with me or the seller and that ebay is to blame? Everytime i call they tell me that the seller should know whats going on or that they need more info from the seller, then they tell me not to call back and they should email me in the next 72 hours. So far this has been very unsatisfactory
