I am a 400 plus 100 percent feedback seller and buyer,In this case I am the seller Item was sold at a best offer( so at their peresistance I gave in on my initial price I am fine with that). item was a mosaic tile art from the 1050s shipped out on time packed well not over packed but professional arrived damaged ,buyer offers to keep the item if I return refund as they will save me the shipping (this was was a three hundred dollar transaction ) Things happen understanable but i did not like buyers option offered felt thretened to me . they opened a case escalated the case and I said let e bay decide knowing buyer would win and be approved a refund and this is what happened. then when I recieved the item back I reversed the paypal money though paypal ebay then refunded the buyer though e check! hence a double 320 dollar payout the money was withdrawn the ebay check has been added to my month end invoice on top of this New and Unrelated Sales monies on hold for 21 days and i was repremanded as well as my seller fees have increased in percentage this over a 60 year old broken mosaic that came unglued. I have been on the phone twice and have been all resolved however the money is still out of pocket and the invoice still states that i am going to be billed the refund to ebay. case reversal was done over a week ago seems no communication between e bay and paypal what so ever to resolve issue that seems very obvious what is going on? why can they reverse and take money in seconds but this has been a month,why hold your account when they have bank account and credit card info on file? and during all this and holding past and new sales cash flow they were able to take their payment from my bank account triple whammy! thanks can only imagine if I did something wrong also scared to make a claim with fedex because they too will raise my rate not going to win so i will move on thanks for reading my rant alan
