Hi I'm a freelancer residing in the UK. I have clients in the US who pay me in USD. Some of my clients tell me that when they pay me through PayPal, PayPal automatically converts the amount to GBP. Unfortunately this leaves a shortfall. For example when a client pays me 200 USD, I receive £140.77 in my PayPal account. £14077 = $192 according to xe.com. So that's a shortfall of $8. PayPal does not explain where the $8 has gone. My client recently told me: "I was able to fix that setting on our [PayPal] account, so all future payments should come in via USD only." How can I set my account to disable automatic conversion from USD to GBP, so that I don't have to tell clients to fix things on their end? Many thanks
