As I type this I am rolling my eyes in disbelief of my stupidity and realise that I've probably been scammed as usually see these things coming a mile off, for some reason I didn't this time (i think) Long story short, saw an item advertised on Facebook (pop up add), factory clearance, lots of people commenting on how good the deal was. Went to the site and made the purchase (£24.98 in total). That was 5 days ago. I've only received a receipt from Paypal and not from the site were it was ordered. Upon checking my paypal receipt I see it is from a chinese company (Changchun Dalan Trading Company), nothing wrong with that as I appreciate there are distribution centres all over the world (order advertised to come from the USA btw) However, checking the paypal receipt further, I notice the email of the seller is a hotmail.com account. I would have expected something a bit more business like. The website we bought the item from no longer exists The item is on pay after delivery with payment to be taken from our account on 7th June, but I see no options to cancel this or find the appropriate option in the resolution centre Any suggestions would be welcome
