Okay guys, so this is a tricky one. I'm currently residing in Amman, Jordan until Dec. 22 helping out a NGO. My Paypal debit card keeps getting declined at ATMs forcing me to use my credit card to withdraw money and racking up a $10 charge everytime. I called customer service but they said it showed me trying to withdraw $43 million on their side, (how thats even possible I don't know, I wasn't aware there were ATMs that gave you that option, but then again I'm working for an NGO so what do I know) the best they could tell me is that I needed to convert in my head, before using an ATM as to not mistakenly try to withdraw $43 million dollars, which was frustrating because again there's no option for that and I kept trying to tell them I was trying to withdraw 20 JD which converts roughly to 25 U.S. They said to try and use a different ATM but I did and same results. However, to make matters more confusing the same ATM that declined me, allowed me to withdraw 100 JD a couple days prior. I would fault the ATMs but since my Capital One works (and I don't have 43 million on credit) and my Paypal doesn't this is leading me to believe it's a Paypal problem. I'm depending on using Paypal to pay my rent while here so it's important that I can withdraw with my debit card. Thanks,
