I'm having a hellish time with Asos themselves - they've told me several times they're 'investigating', but I've had to chase them several times for any updates - of which there have been none. They've said this evening that I'll have a definitive response by this time tomorrow and that they've escalated the issue to their 'specialist team' (whatever that means). Fair enough if Paypal only go by what's shown on the tracking information then I'll just have to push Asos (and possibly Yodel, too) harder. Thank you for your responses.
