First time selling on eBay, shipped item out in good condition as per the photos. Buyer received item, claimed it was broken, and sent pictures of the item obviously used more than I had sent it. He has canceled his payment and is holding me for ransom to pay shipping to return it or he will keep the item and the money. I have emails that the payment was sent to me by paypal and a note that it was cancelled. The payment was unclaimed, because I thought I had to wait because of eBay restrictions regarding pay outs due to my first sale. He canceled the payment, and somehow there is no record of this payment on my PayPal dashboard, yet I have emails saying I did receive payment and it was cancelled. What can I do to get my money? I have proof and message screenshots showing I am being threatened with negative feedback and that he won’t ship it back to me unless I pay for return shipping. So I’d be out 60$ for shipping it there and back, and have a now non-functioning item that is now worth less than half of what it was. Am I just out of luck or can something be done?
