I am a private seller on eBay and sold an item of clothing, listed with accurate measurements for chest and length with a no returns policy. The buyer requested a refund via eBay stating that the item did not suit his frame and eBay message stated that I did not have to refund so I declined. A week later he messaged again stating that this was too small for him now and that he had been in contact with eBay who apparently told him to ask me for a refund again or go to PayPal. I again declined and never considered that PayPal would entertain this claim which he made stating that the item was "significantly not as described". Long story short they agreed with him on just his word against mine and they refunded and he returned the item. The first thing I did, obviously, was to check my measurements and found that it was slightly bigger so this person lied and clearly just didn't like the item once received, which is not my problem. I have been banging my head against a brick wall with PayPal "Support" via the messaging route and they keep sending either standard how to appeal a decision but there is no relevant option to choose. I have requested to escalate my complaint with PayPal but am getting no where so I would be grateful for any help or advice please. I have reported this liar to eBay but heard nothing back from them yet.
