Thank you for taking the time to write to me. Fortunately, this was solved weeks ago. As you mentioned, the regular agents do not know what to do. At some point, I was referred to an agent who did. I was told to complete an IRS W-9 form, which the attorney for our non-profit helped me to complete. Within days, I was notified of a new 1099-K, which says CORRECTED on the top. It was a few weeks of anxiety for me, but I am so glad it was finally resolved. Another thing I learned is to go into my profile and make sure that the Employer Tax ID was listed. It wasn't in our case, even though we had to supply it in order to receive non-profit rates. That was an eye-opener for me as well. When you next call, ask to be referred to the Documents or the IRS Department. I think I talked to both. I can't remember now which one finally told me about the W-9 and sent it to me. I completed it and uploaded it back to them.
