You know what? You guys fail to mention that you can not edit or update a funding source for a recurring payment for an NSF payment notification. I had a $6.99 iTunes fee that generated an NSF for using an account I let dip too low. Completely my fault. So, using your extremely intuitive and helpful website I login to my account, go to funding sources for recurring payments and disable that account and made sure to only allow payments to hit my primary bank account. Well guess what. 4 days later Paypal rams that through to the same funding source. No mention of not being able to update or correct the funding source in the email notification at all. I *thought* I had done what was needed to make sure there would not be a second NSF. Called CS to attempt to resolve this and got absolutely no help whatsoever. Don't you think that letting people know this info is kinda, I don't know, CRITICAL? Not to mention there being no option to manually process the payment to prevent a second NSF. No one wants NSF fees when they can be easily avoided, yet you seem to have it set up to encourage this very outcome. Hey, here's a wacky idea. How bout letting people know in the email you send alerting to NSF, that to correct the payment and prevent future NSF the ONLY option THE ONLY OPTION available is to ensure funds are made available in the original funding source, because updating the funding sources will have ZERO effect. Could have saved me a second NSF fee and you wouldn't have lost a customer. What a lousy setup and incomplete instructions. I have yet to see anything in the help section addressing this very situaton. Surely I am not the only person this has happened to... When I asked the account manager how many people this happens to, he was completely lacking any concern. You've succeeding in making sure I won't use Paypal again anytime soon. I know, I know, you guys could care less. Thats been made more than evident from your CS reps. and Managers I spoke with today. So the only recourse I have is to share this wonderful experience with as many people as I can. That is going to be my sole purpose for the next month or so.
