Hello, On July 11th, my account was limited for "excessive disputes". To resolve the issue, I was simply asked to provide more information about the recent activity on my account, which I was willing to do. Limitation Due to the bad experiences I had through their telephone customer service, I decided to contact them through Facebook to resolve this matter. The email I received stated that they had previously emailed me about this matter and that I was abusing the Buyer Complaint Process. The only email I had received was one a few weeks prior to this incident asking me to confirm my identity due to the unauthorized cases I had opened. Email Shortly after contacting PayPal customer service, the limitation was made permanent and I received an email saying my appeal had been denied although I had yet to receive a response on Facebook and had not appealed at all. I had enough and decided to call PayPal, but all they told me was that this was a business decision and they had decided not to provide me with their services anymore. I do not understand why I am being punished for having unauthorized activity on my account. The transactions that I disputed were sent to the same individuals that I had disputed payments from prior to receiving the email (which were already decided in my favor.) Now I cannot use PayPal anymore and the money I desperately need to pay bills is on hold for 180 days. If anyone can help me with this matter, it would be greatly appreciated. I have heard of permanent limitations getting lifted before, but all the customer support representatives told me that cannot happen. They did not bother to provide any assistance in the slightest and Facebook was no help either. I do not desire to seek legal action against such a small — but desperately needed — sum of money. I am still seeking an alternative to PayPal, or at least my PayPal account back.
