I wrongly ordered an item (paid immediately via PP) from ebay last week which I requested to cancel within 10 minutes. The seller was kind enough to cancel. Now from what I know, a refund should be automatic in this case, however the next day the refund was listed as 'Cancelled' in my activity log with the green amount crossed out: The 'classic view' wasn't much more help, but listed the refund as 'removed' with little further information: It seems like something's happened on the seller's side but he's not responding to messages (and has previous of this going by his ebay feedback). The pay after delivery is going out later this week. Does anyone know what might have happened here and how I can get PP to help? I tried the resolution centre but the two options of 'unauthorised activity' and 'product/service not as described' aren't of any help. The resolution people just sent out a canned response (I chose 'unauthorised activity' and went into detail in the message - I doubt they even read the message), there seems to be very little information on this situation and no help to be provided.
