Dear fellow paypal users, What is happening??!!! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills(movie quote)!! Please, read on and feel my frustrations along with me.. Here is my situation. I bought a "Buy it now" camera from a seller in Denmark, and paid immediately though paypal. The seller tells me he will NOT sell it at that price, that he will have to cancel the transaction. Days go by, and no refund, and no response from the seller. I open a claim through paypal. Soon the seller starts responding, and says he has talked to paypal 3 times already and that there is nothing else he can do. But still no refund. I talked with ebay, they say i need to resolve it with paypal. When I finally get someone on the phone with paypal... after several attempts and being put on hold for extensive periods of time, I get a paypal representative who tells me basically "the seller is NOT issuing the refund" and that she is very sorry, and that she will transfer me to someone else. I have been put on hold AGAIN by paypal, and I don't think I will every get to talk to someone again, I don't have hours of time to be waiting to be transferred. All the evidence is in our conversation between the seller and myself, it was all done through the ebay platform. Its fine, seller made a mistake and does not want to sell. I give the seller the benefit of the doubt, maybe they don't know how to issue a refund, but either ebay or paypal should be smart enough to bring this whole case home for us... why is it so difficult? I have purchased so many items over the years from ebay through paypal, but this experience tell me, better just stay local, shop craigslist and find real people to deal with, because these big companies are now big enough that they will make millions off of us no matter how they treat their customers. I'm sure that paypal and ebay have 1st of all protection that THEY never lose a penny, and then, we the customer, well, if its convenient, they help us out to. Please, I welcome any response!
