Hi all, sorry in advance for the long post but I just want you to see how ridiculous this PayPal and their crappy service is. I have following problem: I received a reimbursement to my PayPal account which was blocked due to my account limitation. I learned that my account has been blocked, as my credit card was stolen years ago. I can neither delete this old credit card from my account, nor can I add a new one. However, I was still able to add my bank account to my PayPal account. How funny.. Furthermore, I am not able to confirm my address via resolution center. So I contacted PayPal, explained the situation and asked them to unlock my account. Following happendever since: - 19th June 2017 I wrote to PayPal for the first time, - 23rd June 2017 Hakan from PayPal asked me for proof of identity, proof of address and the card statement or proof of ownership document from my bank. He also provided a link under which I was supposed to provide the docs. As I couldn´t really prove that I own a card which has been stolen years ago, I explained this and offered to provide my personal ID which is my proof of identity as well as proof of address. - 27th June 2017 Anna from PayPal promised to assign my ticket ro respective department and resolve my issue. In the meantime I gave up and uploaded the ID to the link (although requesting a copy of personal ID is a breach of personal data protection law in my country and technically I could have reported them **bleep** already). Afterwards I didn´t hear from them anymore. 11th July 2017 I reminded PayPal to give me a status. - 12th June 2017 Romy from PayPal contacted me and explained that the respective department forgot to review my case (?!!). He promised to come back to me within 24 hours. - 13th June 2017 Shane from PayPal informed me that they cannot unlock it due to missing information. This time I need to provide a utility bill! However, as I live in a flat that belongs to my mom, a utility bill is not a proof of my address. And inbetween I received a message from Anna telling me how she is happy that they resolved my issue. I don´t know whether I should laugh or cry now. It drives me crazy. Everytime I receive a response from someone else, everytime it is a different information and evertime they just refuse to give me MY money!! I swear to God these idiots were working in Guantanamo. This is a psychical terror and the most discusting manipulation of customer I´ve ever experienced. Do you guys have similar experience and can you advise me what to do? Thanks, Robert
