Hi, Three months ago, our company had shipped out a parcel that worth $1000 via our shipping department and received a printed name and initial with a date by the receiver as our receipt of delivery. I asked the delivery staff who was in charge and he said the receiver only put the name saying that he doesn't have a formal signature. And today we were notified that he claimed a chargeback for an unathorized transaction--so I submitted the scan file of the receipt. Since it was not through a carrier like Fedex or UPS, I'm worried if PayPal or the credit company won't accept it as a proof of shipment. Was there any other cases like this? Situations like this are very frustrating with the merchants because PayPal takes away the balance as soon as the buyer claims a dispute with a transaction and it really effects us. I really do think there has to be change in terms of handling the disputes and claims with PayPal. Please let me know how I can improve this issue.
