Ever since enabling two-factor authentication in PayPal, Mint has stopped working and won't update the account. The error returned is "PayPal uses a security method that prevents us from adding it". Not that this is surprising, as it stands, but why hasn't PayPal offered a work-around for the security enhancement? Specifically, other websites recognize that two-factor authentication will block normal Mint access so they offer an aggregate option. A new username and password with a different login website for Mint to use and gain access to update the account. Does PayPal have a plan for offering this option to Mint? Both companies are huge and have a ton of users. There's no reason why PayPal users should have to sacrifice security (turn off two-factor) in order to get them to play nice with eachother. Very frustrating.
