Hi Jon-K Thank you for your reply. However, when I try to contact Paypal Customer Services, the only option I seem to have is the virtual assistant which is hopeless. It asks me to identify the transaction/refund which I do, it then tells me that the refund has been completed which it most definitely hasn't. According to my Paypal account, the transaction was reversed immediately on December 14th ( I inadvertantly paid the seller in Dollars instead of Sterling) and credited to my bank on December 18th. But there's no sign of it. I bank with First Direct and they tell me there's nothing in the system for the refund. It's almost three weeks now and I really need that money. Can you provide a link whereby I can speak to or email a human being rather than the virtual assistant please? Thank you
