I ordered a gift card from CodePal, Their website messed up and said I submitted a double order - when I did NOT. My paypal shows there's a 2nd payment pending Authorization. I emailed them 4 times telling them that they made a mistake and to cancel the 2nd transaction. They e-mailed me back stating that it's in breach of contract to cancel the order - but I didn't even order twice in the first place because their website messed it up. I e-mailed them that it's their fault on their end, and even so the goods weren't delivered anyways, so there should be no problem in canceling the payment or refunding it. They e-mail me back "Maybe you should be more responsible" and then threaten to say I'm a fraud all because they messed up. They threatened me saying they would get the FBI involved and even said if I contacted the BBB they won't do anything. They then send an email a day later asking for a photo of my ID with all the information showing and they'll give me another card. I looked them up and have found where people who even sent ID's got nothing but being scammed out of their money. I never even submitted the 2nd order in the first place, I do not even want the card. I just want my money back. Their customer service is extremely rude and unprofessional. Not to mention they referred me to their customer service phone number which charges $0.99 a minute. I've tried but I can't find a way to stop the 2nd payment from going through. It's under "authorization" but I do not authorize the payment. Please help, what do I do?
