Hi, I am new to this, but I need help!! I sold a boxed matching necklace and earring set to a buyer who lives in Italy. I carefully wrapped the box in plenty of bubble wrap and put it in a jiffy bag and sent it Recorded Delivery to the Ebay Global Shipping Centre my buyer had requested. When my buyer received the package, she said the jiffy bag was sealed and when she opened the box, the necklace and earrings were missing - my buyer raised a dispute with the Payal Resolution Centre. Paypal put her payment of £60+ on hold. I messaged my buyer, stating that I guaranteed that the jewellery was in the box when it left me, so it must have been stolen en-route. She messaged me back the following: "Hi, I checked the package. The sticker broken was under the Bartolini courier's one. For once the thief was not Italian I will follow with paypal. I'm so sorry because the set was for my niece's first communication. Regards" Paypal found in her favour and refunded her £60+ which I have no problem with, but I am out of pocket as the item was stolen in transit, and she admitted that. How do I get compensated for this loss!!
