I ordered a product from Banggood, described as "ships next day" with expedited shipping, tarriff and shipping insurance. 5 days later, order status described order shipped, and a tracking number was provided. Had the item not been described as shipped, I would have cancelled the order at that time. Three days later, the order is again changed to shipped, with a date of shipping 3 days after the first. I Contacted Customer Service, and they lied repeatadly, until I sent them the shipping manifest of the first tracking number. They then blamed the issue on logistics, only after I confronted them with the manifest, and they could lie no longer. The item had not yetbeen physically picked by the shipper yet. I asked Customer Service several times to cancel, but ws told it was already shipped, and nothing could be done. They had no explanation as to how they were able to cancel the order after 3 days, after the first time it was shipped. The order arrived with the item smashed, which was obvious even before opening the package. I took stills and video of the damage, and sent them to Banggood. It was evident that the extent of the packing was a very thin cardboard box. corrugated cardboard, aprox 1/8" thick, completly inadequate for the type of item I ordered. Banggood is refusing to refund me, or reship the order, and has offered me $10 in credits instead of honoring their Terms and Conditions. I mentioned their "Shipping Insurance". Bangood's description of the policy reads like this: What is Banggood Shipping insurance? Shipping insurance speeds up the refund/resend process, with shipping insurance you may not need to return the item back, instead a case of DOA or no show will be resent or refunded without needing to wait for an investigation. For a DOA of a faulty item, even if we ask you to return it, you don’t need to wait for the item to be sent back to us and checked, you will be refunded/resent first.
