It was a mistake. It doesn't matter whose fault it was. The point was that paypal could potentially reclassify the transaction and refund the fee without having to go through the whole ordeal of refunding the money and then redoing the entire transaction. If nothing else, this thread, which was supposed to be helpful to people who may have made the same mistake, has only confirmed that you are over aggressive with no sense of customer service. Your lack of empathy is stunning.
