My husbad and I are freelance writers, and most of the time, if not all of the time, companies we work for use PayPal as the primary payment method. We work for ruputable sites like Blogmutt and Content Hub, among others. So, basically, we are employees and freelancers all in one. Recently PayPal limited my account claiming there was suspicious activity involving a credit card linked to my PayPal account. Here is the punch line: I do not have a credit card linked to the account, nor do I have a credit card period. I checked my account thoughorly and don't find any type of information that would even elude to the idea that there is a credit/debit card linked to my account, or ever was. I sent them an email complaining about this but have yet to recieve a response. They seem real quick to suspend or limit people's accounts, but if they are actually mistaken on their end, they take their time in resolving the issue. Has anyone else dealt with this issue? And if so, was it resolved in a timely manner? And if it takes more then two days to resolve this issue, what can i do about it? Freelancing is my bread and butter, so I cannot afford to deal with this type of issue from PayPal.
