I have received some identification requests from Paypal, one of them I attached it below. As the letter I understand, I need to verify identity before Nov 3, 2017. Because my account is business, so on Oct 18, 2017 I have uploaded my company "bussiness license" or "original business registration certificate" (I dont know what exactly English people call it) was stamped, issued and cerificated by Vietnamese goverment, of course, there is my name on the list of company leaders. But on Oct 25, 2017, it was rejected, also, my account was limited, why such a document like that can not be considered as proof of address, and why my account was limited on Oct 25, not Nov 3? Next, I called up the Paypal support center in Singapore, someone took the call, promised to call me back, but for 35 days I have not received any calls from Paypal. I tried Email Us feature, trying to request a downgrade, did exactly all step, including reason I want, but I receive an email from Yee Shien - PayPal Compliance Department, he said I must do it again. (below picture) One day later (Nov 4, 2017), I receive an email that said "Your case is being reviewed", but i had to wait till Nov 12, 2017, when I sent an email to ask about my case's status, Muhamad Haziq - PayPal Compliance Department mailed me, and said: Dear Le Phuong,
Thank you for contacting PayPal. We are unable to downgrade your account to a personal account because you have a valid registered business. Kindly update the business name on account to Nava Technology and Media Company Limited to match with the document provided. I'm sure I change my business name to "Le Phuong" before request. But the same day, I received an email from Mogana - PayPal Compliance Department that said I must choose which type of account I want to downgrade to? Premier or Personal? Of course, I replied that email, and said I want to change to Premier account, but noone response me 🙂 Until Nov 21, I received an email that said I've go to the link in the email, and uploaded all the things that Paypal requires. But on Nov 23, I keep receiving email that said all requirement not met. Follow this email, I go to https://www.paypal.com/policy/hub/cip again, there is no button which can upload anything. So I sent it through email. But things have not stopped there, and I continue to receive emails with the same content above from Raj, Kim Yong Until today was 6 days, I still have not received any feedback from Paypal. The last 40 days I lost a lot of money, because my account can not receive payment from partners.
