My account had a negative balance due to a payment mixup. I sent a message through the message center asking for advice on how to make a payment because the only payment options available on the site would not work for me. Several days later PayPal responded by informing me that my account was being passed on to collections because of my failure to pay. PayPal did not answer my question or help me make a payment in any way. They took so long to respond that I found an alternative way to pay in the meantime. Therefore, not only did they not answer my question, they sent my account to collections despite my payment being sent days before the message. The unhelpful correspondence I received was from Cindy in Risk Operations, username: stkana4-NA. If I can find an alternative to PayPal I will be using that service in the future.
