A few days ago I purchased an intangible item online, and when I received the item, it caused my account on the website I purchased the item for to be terminated. I bought the item from a website, and have asked the owner of the website if I could file a dispute if I couldn't get in contact with the seller to request a refund and he gave me permission, so that's what I did. Though, this seller new the item he was selling would have caused my account to be terminated and he told me he wouldn't refund me, so should I escalate the dispute even though I filed it about 12 hours ago? Will escalating the dispute to a claim help me receive a refund? Or should I just wait it out? Better yet, can I even escalate it yet or do I have to wait? - Sorry for all the questions, I'd appreciate as much help as possible.
