I have experienced the same scenario. Had a refund issued on 16NOV16, still in Pending. Called PayPal on Saturday, and was told funds would be released this Monday. Waited until yesterday with still no resolution. Called back and was told there was "a known glitch they were working to resolve but there was no time-table for the resolution so I need to be patient" . I asked for a Supervisor. This Supervisor shut the conversation down very quickly offering no support other than that my concern was being "added to the ticket" and a tech would need to solve. I asked if calling in the morning and waiting to speak directly to a tech was an option and was told "possibly". I called this morning and received the same "be patient we will get to you when we have a solution" message and was told that there was no way to talk directly to a tech to solve my concern. No solution available. No comittment to a timeline for resolution. No comment as to why if this issue is so widespread, why aren't more resources being allocated to solve. No comment as to the restitution PayPal will make to those affected. Unacceptable.
