I recently sold an Preowned Authentic bag. Buyer claimed its a fake after a week receiving it. I messaged her that I am positive it is an authentic bag. She said it's not leather its plasitc. I told her I studied in Textile Science, I would've known if its not. Then she turned her subject to the seam looks fake. Then I found a page on Nordstrom of the exactly same product to show her it is how this bag is made. Then ,she cannot find any excuses and said " I am keeping my opinion". I told her I've already have it authenticated. She realized she cannot find any excuses to return it, so she escalated the dispute to paypal ! I cannot believe paypal agreed with her and decided to give her refund !!! I've called paypal and asked about it, the only reason paypal gave was " There is no receipt to prove this bag is authentic". This is totally NOT RIGHT !!!!! Not a lot of people keep the receipt! It does not mean its a Replica! From what I'm getting now is that whatever I buy and I change my mind, I could just claim its fake and have it refunded, since paypal does not check the accusation is false or not. ????!!!!!!!!!!! What paypal did ruin my reputation! It makes the buyer think she did got a fake bag from me !!!!!! Now I am waiting for the bag to sent back. I cannot even find where can I track the return package on paypal dispute page. The paypal person on the phone said it should be sent back before 11/28 the dispute will be closed if the item has not been sent, but there is no tracking, how paypal gonna know she really did send it back? Does the dispute closed automatically if I did not recieved the bag by the time? Feel like paypal only protecting the buyer, and not caring about the seller.
