So i sold a Steam activation code for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided via Ebay and some random guy with almost no feedback buys it for $34 and contacts my to sent him the code via Ebay messanger which i did. 10 days later my payment gets on hold because that guy says he got hacked, didn't bought the game and asks for a refund. No i dont see why a hacker who hacks someone's Ebay and Paypal searches for the best deal of a cheap game on Ebay but whatever. Paypal ask me for proof that i sent him the item so i am sending them screenshots of the chat i had with the buyer via ebay messanger asking me for the code, screenshots that prove my activation code is legit and a message explaining how Steam works and that there is no way to recive back my game because now is on that users account and it will forever be. After 3 days Paypal closes the case taking my money and refunding that user who i am 99% sure that he scummed me. I have sold 6 games in Paypal and thats the 2nd time already the buyers says he got hacked and i am loosing my money. What the heck is this? Why Paypa encourages that refund abuse. Why tehy don't protect their sellers? What should i do know? Is there a way to get my money?
