I am so fed up with pay pal right now. I have used them for years and have had nothing but problems with their terrible security. I am all about a secure account but not this secure. It is way too powerful and makes it impossible to make purchases or send money without my **bleep** account freezing up or getting locked. I had that with a previous account and then just started this one because of that nightmare. I have $500 "available" (my **bleep**) credit and am trying to send money to a friend. I call pay pal multiple times this weekend and today and they say that what I am doing is "high risk"..... Why would this option be available if they say it's "high risk"???? If it's high risk then don't allow it! Then after that I call another time to talk to another rep and she says that I have to wait 30 days to send money with pay pal credit and it might work. And IF it works it might only be a small amount that I can send. What is the point? I got an amazon store card a few weeks ago, applied, and was instantly able to use every bit of it in minutes if I wanted to. Zero issues. I could buy a **bleep** laptop if I wanted to with that credit. Pay pal on the other hand is like a vault and they're not letting me do anything with my credit. I have to go through the almighty gatekeeper to do anything. So then after that this woman says that in the mean time I can make normal purchases on ebay and such. So I go to ebay to buy a $6 pair of ear fins for my headphones and it got denied once again. Unbelievable. Seriously Pay Pal get your **bleep** together. Luckily my neighbor is a reporter for a local NBC affiliate, so I'm going to explain the years of headaches I've had with pay pal and their ridiculous security. That way at least people will know to stay away. Customer service reps have zero control over anything. They always blame it on their security. It's perfect if you want to dodge trouble shooting with customers. Just sit back, relax, and say it's the security and your hands are tied. Smh
