Hello Everyone,   I have been having a massive and extremely frustrating problem with paypal. A couple months ago I started to get the "We're concerned about potential unauthorized activity" when I open my account. I completed the questions they asked me, but they did not text me so I kept re-trying. On my 4th time, it said they cant confirm my account, and I needed to pick a different option to confirm, (Call, or upload proof of identity,) but the problem is my phone cannot be called. It is an error I am trying to fix but is also not working. I do not want to upload proof of identity because I do not want to hand over paperwork via the internet. I just want to get rid of this whole situation, so please just delete my account. I contacted support about 12 times, and each time they have not gotten back to me. Really Frustrated!   About a week ago, I tried to login to my account because a transaction did not work because of an error. But, when I logged in it says "We’re concerned about potential unauthorized activity." Confirming my identity was not a problem first, thinking this is usual thing to happen to people on PayPal, because of their high security. But once i click the button to verify, it sends me to something i need to fill out. There's a drop down menu with Text Me, Call Me, and Confirm Identity in another way (takes longer), so I clicked on text me. When I fill out a new number because the number that was given in the drop down menu to text was no longer available, I clicked the continue button. But once I clicked it, nothing happened. I was still on the same url. There was text under the first dropdown menu saying "Click 'I agree that I will be texted'" But there was no check box. Why was everything not working? So, recently I tried to purchase something off the internet, but the order failed. So I logged into my paypal account and all that happens is that it sends me to a screen that says this: We’re concerned about potential unauthorized activity. So I click continue and fill out the form for "text me" But once i'm done, I cannot press the "Next" button. Once clicked, nothing happens. The screen is the same, and it's the same url.
