Hello, A few weeks ago, I set up a security feature on PayPal whereby every single time I logged in, no matter which machine, browser, time or date it was, I had to receive an SMS with a code in it to complete the login. This worked for maybe a fortnight then randomly stopped. Now, every time I log in, it allows me straight into my account with just the password. It doesn't display the validation page or send me an SMS. I don't receive any SMS either. What's stranger still, is when I go to 'Security' within my PayPal account, there is no option that is relevant to this feature. The only one which may be relevant is the 'Security Key' hyperlink, but when I click it it says the service is active already for my number. When I click 'learn more about ordering security keys' to find out if this is the service I was looking for, the page errors. I called PayPal and they confirmed that the service the be sent an SMS code every time I logged in on a PC was actually active. It's definitely not working though. I just tried to log in via another browser and then another device and it didn't ask for validation. I have checked and am 100% using the https:// address and I also have 0 viruses or malware according to Malwarebytes and Bitdefender. Any thoughts? Have PayPal revoked the service without announcing it (I figure the cost of sending all those SMS maybe?)? Thanks in advance.
