Have just had a buyer send me a message through eBay claiming that a jigsaw puzzle they purchased from me has 4 pieces missing, they asked me to pay their postage as they've said the item is "Faulty"... The jigsaw in question had been completed once, by me, carefully packed away & counted twice in blocks of 100 before posting... It annoys me because they will probably be awarded the money back & I know that all the pieces were there when I posted it... For one, there would be no point whatsoever in me selling a jigsaw with pieces missing as it would be, at some point, returned... I also find it very unfair that, straight away, PayPal debit the money from my PayPal account leaving me with a negative balance, basically, making me seem like the guilty party... The money could be taken after the dispute if found in buyers favour... I messaged the buyer straight back through eBay offering them a full refund of the cost of the jigsaw and their original postage costs on return of item but refused to pay return postage...hence the dispute, and all they've asked for is the total original amount which I had already offered them...
