I have never had a Paypal account. I tried to open an account so I can sell my custom jewelry but it has been 3 weeks now and I still cannot add my bank account. They keep asking for the same things over and over and over and over again. I uploaded perfectly legible pdf's of *everything they asked for* - proof of address, proof of name, and my social security card - but each time I would go to log in and they said I still needed to upload the same docs. Obviously their software compromises pdfs or something, but they'll never admit to that. As evidence, on the third attempt to send one of these documents, they finally conceded in an email they received it, but they claim the others are blank. After 4 attempts to do this, I sent them all the docs nicely packaged in a single pdf doc via email. They write back and say that even though I sent all the right docs, since it did not come through their broken 'resolution' center, they could not accept it. I tried again, and they claimed they were still missing the social security card, but apparently conceded getting the proof of name (my passport, which at first they said the birthdate was missing, but the birthdate was directly in the center of the passport, which I had to circle and draw arrows, because obviously they were faked out by 21APR1975, because the only date format they recognize is a video of someone screaming the date at them in slow motion so they are sure to get it). SInce the resolution center was a bust, I packaged every pdf I sent and uploaded it to a private server and emailed the link. I never got a reply to that email. Then I got another email explaining they still did not have the social security card, even though the resolution center simultaneously said: " Nov 24, 2015 Provide Proof Of SSNProvide documentation that shows your Social Security number. Helpful documents include a copy of your Social Security card, a pay stub, or a government-issued document. Information Received-Accepted Complete " So I embedded a pic of the social security card right in the center of another email and sent it to complianceverifications [AT] paypal [DOT] com There was no way they could miss that. This was several days ago - no reply. Since there was no reply, I tried sending an email via the paypal customer 'service' webform, and I get an auto-reply related to the wrong subject matter. Then I re-sent the same email to the webform and I never got a reply. I sent another email to the compliance email addty asking them to explain why when i log in i see a resolution center error message, but when I go to the resolution center i see this: Nov 24, 2015 Photo IDTo help confirm your identity, please send us a copy of your photo ID that shows your name and address. Information Received-Accepted Complete Nov 24, 2015 Proof of AddressTo confirm your address, please send us a copy of a bill that shows your name and address. Helpful documents include a utility bill, a cell phone bill, an insurance bill, or a tuition bill. Information Received-Accepted Complete Nov 24, 2015 Provide Proof Of SSNProvide documentation that shows your Social Security number. Helpful documents include a copy of your Social Security card, a pay stub, or a government-issued document. Information Received-Accepted Complete And I get absolutely no response. Any other company goes out of business that treats customers like this. Customer service for paypal sucks. And I am a new customer. I cant even use the account because they tied me up in all their red tape, they say they can't see my docs but they can, and then they dont reply to my emails. Wow.
