If your issue doesn't fit neatly into their little lowest common denominator paradigm of what customers might need help with, there is no way to gwet a live human on the other end of the line. Well, that might be a little hyperbole, but I have never gotten to a live person the same way twice. The menu options run you around in circles. Yes, I have gotten a human on the line (not that it helped at all) but one time it will be quite quickly and call back with the same issue an hour later and it will take 12 iterartions of the voice menu. This has got to be one of the worst customer service setups in the US (notwithstanding the fact that their call centers are in the Phillipines). When you google "paypal bad customer service" you'll get over 4.8Million hits. The first page lists Paypal right up there with Comcast, AT&T, Time Warner (I know this first hand), and Verizon, dubious company, indeed. That is not to say that theu are all complaints about Paypal, but it makes you stop and think.
