Good day, Over two months ago I purchased the PayPal here card reader for my business. Two months ago I submitted all of the documents required. After a month of not being able to acceess the terminal I called the helpline to ask whts going on and why it still says "Additional documents required" when i go to log in when i have submitrted all documents now about a month ago.. I am told that in 24 hrs the problem will be resolved and it will be working, 24 hrs after this it was still not working so i called again and was told 48 hours and it will be working, after this i called again and was told 5 working days and it will be sorted. it's now been over 2 months and I am still being told completly random time frames which have no truth behind them. Every time my case has "been escilated as high priority". I have on two occasions asked for a manager to call me back, which has not happned. Rather I call back speak with the manager and am fed complete lies. These lies have caused me to loose on business which exceeds £15,000. As you can imagiane its very frustrating, looseing all this money and then Paypal not having the courtsey to call when scheduled and say whats hapaning. I have now requested all data on file which my legal team will review and we may sue for loss of bussiness unless a good explination and compensation/ gesture of good will is offered. If i was told at the start that it may take a couple months to set up I would have bought/rented a new termal from a diferent company, however I was told "there is no need to buy a new terminal as this one will be set up for your event on the weekend" it was not set up, i then coud not take any card payments. It's soley down to the poor communication and lies as to why i'm now so out of pocket. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and whether anyone else has taken PayPal to court?
