So i recently got hit with a double jeopardy by papal. Someone bought a digital good from me for $160 dollars, i had them include a note that they would not chargeback the item and that they were paying for a digital good. The very next day a dispute is opened after the buyer took my item (digital good). They are stating they have not authorized the transaction although i sent the full chat log with their full agreement and a screenshot of the trade to paypal. The user clearly got my items and the money was sent to me and paypal can see this. I end up winning the dispute on Thursday which they stated was won in my favor, which i was happy about. So i moved the money i won in the dispute over to my account and paid my normal bills with said money (which is about half my rent for the month). Spend the money without regret since its rightfully mine. Then this morning they decide to take the money from me again in some double jeopardy styled manner. Now the money is gone and they expect it back. The scammer has my goods and his money essentially doubling his money and **bleep** on me. He was reimbursed $160 and my good is as good as gone. Its hard to believe that a company that has so much influence on the market has not even remotely considered how much of a high percentage of sales online are for digital goods in this day and age especially in the area of pc gaming. It makes me sick they allow so many people to get away with this scam. i see plenty of horror storys similar to my case and i think its outrageous. Today paypal has lost me as a costumer, for someone who has been a long time partner with paypal i feel totally betrayed.
