SO a few weeks ago i sold a small engine off a riding lawn mower for almost $400. When the engine arrived to the buyer it was damaged from being dropped in shipping. I did not purchase the insurance(by mistake) so i didnt bother filling a claim for it. I tried to work it out with the buyer who had opened a claim threw ebay, and was going back and forth with them. They said they didnt want to go threw the hassle of shipping it back so we came to an agreement that i would refund him about $175. I sent the offer threw ebay as i was told to do but he said he was too busy and would review it in the next week In the passing time, there was a claim opened threw paypal as well which i didnt know about. My email got a virus so i had to re-do it all and never saw a email from paypal about the claim. I thought it was all being taken care of threw ebay. Anyways, within the next 5 days i saw that paypal refunded the buyer in full and im out over $150 in fees and shipping. I at least want my engine back or the diffrence of the partial refund me and the buyer agreed on It is now obvious to me that he knew what he was doing and was prolonging the process to get the full refund. SInce then(1 week ago) he has not responded to my messages. Please if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it. I cant afford this loss right now. I would settle for the partial refund that would atleast cover the shipping and fees i paid THankyou!!
