Okay, so in 2013 I made an eBay account and a Paypal account. I was 13 at the time and didn't even know about a student account. I went on and just used Paypal as if I was over 18, without any issues. I sold items every now and then on eBay and only just recently, around May, I started selling a lot more items. I'm 16 now, and I had around $270 in my Paypal. I was planning on transferring it to my bank account. I had an issue actually setting up my bank account because my bank kept denying my request for some reason and instead of calling the bank I called paypal. Stupid idea, I know, I'm 16 and am calling paypal. I just recently added my SS# aswell, so they would be able to find my age if they wanted. I completely forgot about the fact that me being 16 on paypal was against the rules and when I was on the phone with them, I told them I was 16. I don't know how it came up, but I was transferred and the guy restricted my account, deening it useless practically. I ended up telling my mom and we looked up second options and I made a student account under her PayPal. I only have $10 on here and it has nothing linked with my restricted paypal with $270. How could I possibly get my money back? They said it will be mine again in 3-6 months or something like that. It's been at least 3 months and I am really looking to get my money back. Second Question keep note, I also made my ebay when I was 13 and still have that account today. Obviously I haven't used it since my incident, but that left me wondering, will I be able to link my student paypal to this ebay that I've been using for a long time, or do I need to have my mom make an ebay account and link that to my new paypal, to "monitor" it.
