Three hours of my life that I'll never see again. That's how I feel after attempting to sort our a return on ebay. A lady, and I use that term losely, purchased a dress from me over 30 days ago. She gave me a good feedback as I did for her and I thought all was done. Oh no, 32 days after her purchase she sent a nasty one line email stating "send me my money back, the zipper is broken." I told her the dress was fine when I sent it and that she has had it more than 30 days. She said "send me your address. Paypal will give me my money back no questions asked for 45 days." I stated I had no intention of sending her money back. If the zipper was broken it was because she broke it. Her one line emails had a distinct undertone of, she knew what she was doing and how to get her money back....as if she had done it many times before. I would love to put her ebay name here but not sure if I am allowed...Anyway, after I won the dispute on Ebay...she filed a claim with Paypal and GOT HER $83 BACK. Paypal states she has 6 MONTHS to file a claim for her money. I told them I had won a the dispute on Ebay and they stated they were no longer owned by ebay and could not see the dispute or the outcome. Paypal also stated they didn't care what Ebay said. Paypal was giving her her money back. What the heck??? You and I both know that a woman gets a dress and immediately tries it on. If there was an issue with the dress, she would have emailed me immediately. I am a wonderful, honest seller. I feel totally disillusioned by Paypal and am withdrawing the money I have in my Paypal account. The buyer.....blocked! Are there any other secure options for receiving funds besides PayPal? As much as I would love to quit selling on Ebay I need the extra funds, as little as they are, to make ends meet. I just don't trust PayPal with my money. I am definately feeling sad today....
