Hello Paypal Community, After many calls to Paypal Customer Service, Here is the information that I gathered about my situation: 1. My account was linked to 4 accounts. 2 of which is mine and 2 is just some random accounts I have never heard of. 2. Paypal confirmed that only 2 are mine and gave me no information about the other 2. 3. Paypal also told me that the 2 accounts that are linked to my account have negative balances. One of them had -50$ and other had -120$. In total was 170$. I asked if I could pay that amount through my current Paypal, but they told me no, and I had to pay with a credit/debit card. 4. I payed the 170$ with credit card and Paypal told me that it could take up to 72 hours to process my "appeal". 5. 72 hours had gone by and I called Paypal to give me feedback on my situation. They told me I should wait another 1-2 hours. I waited 1-2 hours and still, my account was limited. I then called again and they told me they will put my account on "priority queue" and it can take up to 3 hours. 6. 3 hours had gone by and when I logged to my Paypal account, there was a message in bold saying "This limitation cannot be appealed." 7. Confused as I was, I opened my email and saw a message by Paypal saying my "appeal" was denied because I was breaking Paypal's safety precautions or whatever. 8. I then checked my Paypal and the following message was there as to why my account is limited: May 21, 2015: It looks like you've been having some customer service issues. A few of your buyers have contacted us to let us know that they never received their merchandise or there was a problem with the merchandise they received. Right now, we're looking into the problem transaction(s). You may be able to help us resolve this by: 1. Making sure your PayPal account has enough money in it to cover any pending refunds. 2. Sending an email to PayPal authorizing us to refund your dissatisfied buyer(s). To do this, click Help at the top of any page and then choose Contact Us. 9. Paypal also told me that I had to wait 180 days before I can take my money out. So, let me get this straight. I had 2 accounts that had negative balances. I payed to have them back to 0. On top of that, my current account is still limited? What is the reason that my account is still limited? I certainly haven't done anything wrong.
