You should be able to confirm your email address if you click the confirmation link that appears in the email you received from us. After clicking the link, you will be required to enter your password. Then you just need to click Confirm. Usually when you send a payment, the funds would be taken first form the balance (if you have money in your PayPal account) then from your bank and the last option would be the card. While it wouldn't be possible for you to adjust the default funding source, you may be able to choose the payment method for specific transactions. If the payment doesn't appear as Completed in the transaction history of your PayPal account, no funds should have been taken, unless they were temporarily placed on hold by your bank. It could be that the payment was sent to a different email address. Your best option would be to give our Sales team a call on 0800 358 7929. They can tell you what types of services we could provide to assist you with receiving payments. For example, the standard PayPal fee ranges from 1.4% to 3.4% per transaction. It depends on if the payment is being sent as goods or services, or if the payment is sent as a personal payment. If a payment is being sent from Korea to Canada, there would also be cross-border fees applied of 0.5% per transaction.  If currencies are being transferred, there are also currency conversion fees applied.
