Thanks @DAVICZ that's bad news did they give you any reason? Surely they can't just steal customers funds like this and get away with it, there has to be some recourse.

Just upgraded to business account which is now limited because they say they need some information. I click the link to provide the information and it just shows a page with "Thanks for providing the information" (though I haven't provided any) but the account is still limited. Getting no joy from message centre and there are no options under resolution centre for this (it insists I select a transaction). Is there a phone number in the UK I can try to speak to an actual person about this? It's damaging my business as I have not been able to access my funds for 5 days now.
By the way I tried the link in different browses and different computers and exactly the same thing happened, so I believe the issue is server side (i.e. paypal's issue, not mine).

Following the advice here: https://www.paypal.com/gb/selfhelp/article/faq3196 I cannot even see any Profile link or Selling tools option on my paypal page, I have a personal account but have set up the API credentials before, years ago when these instructions may have been valid, but I simply can't find them now.

Hello, I already have a paypal account linked to a joint bank account I hold with my wife. Now my wife is starting her own online enterprise and would like to set up her own paypal account (premier personal I think rather than business) and would like to also link it to the same joint account. Is this going to be allowed?
