Hi all, I made an account for PayPal in the previous year yet didn't add any cards onto my account and more or less forgot about it - until today, that is. I wanted to order something and the payment required paypal since it was shipping to the UK. I continued through the checkout and my total cost was roughly £62, the page displayed that the payment was waiting on my PayPal account for me to fill in the necessary details and begin the shipment and what not. After clicking the link, I was redirected to a PayPal page and paid through debit, but I didn't add a card - just inserted my card details and delivery address, the usual, and apparently POOF, done. There goes £62.50. I was happy with the process, it went smoothly and was impressed for a first time sort of thing. Until I check my inbox and see two more or less identical 'billing reciepts' both with the subject line, 'Your payment to ZOEVA GmbH'. Both of these emails contain more or less identical details, including the receipt number, leading to my current predicament of potentially being charged £125 for something I bought once. I then tried to check my 'Activity' yet there was, and still is, nothing to show of my most recent purchase except for the emails burning a hole in my inbox, and potentially my purse *sob* - I thought the problem would be resolved if I actually activated my account which I had failed to do so prior to the payment and in 2014, silly me, although still nothing in my Activity. In question: Have I been charged twice for one payment going off of the two emails I received? Or is this something that 'happens'? Also, why have I got no proof in my Activity of my purchase? Any help will be greatly appreciated, I need the peace of mind! Thanks.
