I have changed the payment method, for my Holiday rental income, from PayPal directly into my bank Account (I will also be contacting my 3rd party agents, who oversee the rental of my property AND thousands of others, to refrain from using PayPal as a means to forward on rental income to their clients) - no longer will PayPal be able to manipulate MY money for their own "dubious" means.   We are "only" talking about £116 in this instance - but extrapolate that throughout paypal users and the extent of the potential malpractice by paypal becomes apparent   I suggest  of escrow or holding funds through paypal switch to direct payments into their bank Account - IT IS YOUR MONEY  - NOT PAYPALS ... I wholly agree - I added a bank account (one which I want to use to keep track of my Holiday Cottage rental payments - which don't get paid until they are actually in the Cottage) They are never in the Cottage for more than a week (average) if paypal wait 21 days to see if they are satisfied with the "product" - though this is a service - it is natuaral they will say they are not and therefor get a free Holiday!!!! I went through the verification to add the additrional bank account - now they (paypal) show it as "pending" this company is using MY and YOUR money for their own ends - in the UK this would be a criminal offence ... Hi Valdo77   Your not being a "numpty" I have had the same issue! the site just keeps returning you to the same roundabout   I added a bank accounjt (just as a holding account so I could transfer the correct amount to a cleaner for my Cottage - I take payment for Holiday rental for my Cottage through PayPal) Once I added the bank account and everything went through verification of Phone number etc - I withdrew money to the account - now the payment is showing as pending and has been for some time! Now PayPal is sitting with MY money and their term of service say that it is to prevent fraud!! - or is it they are gaining interest on MY money they are holding somewhere in the ether - their terms also state that the money may be refunded if their team suspect fraud - that would mean I (as the seller) lose the money from my rental and my renter has a free holiday!!!
