I'm getting sick and tired of Ebay/Paypal's one-way protection scheme. I have perfect feedback. 3800 transactions, 2800+ 100% feedback. In short, I'm an honest seller that does things right. I sell an item, and the buyer is a problem from the get-go. Asking for tracking info and complaining that it isn't right/doesn't work, before the end of the same day he bought it on. Right off the bat, I know this guy is trouble. So he gets the $160 part, and immediately files a dispute. Then, he turns around and files a claim immediately. All this happens before I even know there is a problem. He never contacts me directly. Paypal tells me he filed a dispute. And tells me he filed a claim. Then doesn't give me any way to say anything, unless I want to check the box marked "no problem, full refund"! So Paypal directs the guy to send me back the item, even though I put in the comments that I would like for the buyer to send me a picture of the supposed defect. [Buyer claims item not as described, and doesn't come with drain plugs]. So buyer send me back the item, and it's the same part as I sold him, but an older version that I have never seen. Probably over 6 years older than the current version I am selling. Looking closely, I can see that its also a used part that was cleaned up. This guy basically took an older version and used me to upgrade it. Ebay and Paypal are so buyer biased that I feel like there is nothing I can do except watch them let the buyer **bleep** me! What can be done?
