I have been having a real problem with customers paying money requests that I send them. Apparently if the customer has an email address, that once had a Paypal account associated with it, they have to provide all the original account bank info before Paypal will let them log in. If they have forgotten that info, and let's face it, if you haven't used a internet account in a year or two, you won't remember information like this either, they can't log in and can't pay the money request. Paypal will not let them pay the money request without logging into their account. Now if they never had a Paypal account associated with the email address that the money request is sent to, then they can pay it with no problem. This is ridiculous, and results in: 1 An irritated customer 2. Delay in processing the money request 3. Multiple back and forth emails to the customer 4. The customer having to spend time trying to figure out why they can't pay the money request 5. My reluctance to use Paypal, since I know that this issue is going to come up again. I have called Paypal customer support and complained about this, and their only solution is to contact the customer that the money request was sent to, and ask them to provide another email address that was never part of a Paypal account. I had one customer that had to set up a Gmail account just for this purpose. This is a real imposition on the customer, and something that should not even occur. Paypal needs to fix this and soon. This is a great way to send the wrong impression to your customers...
