Hello! I have an ongoing subscription, for which I was supposed to be charged £25 the other day. My PP balance at the time was $65. Granted, in two different currencies, but I always thought that's not a problem. My default payment method for the subscription is the balance, and the secondary is a mastercard. At the time, I got a notification that the payment failed, and and sms saying that the system failed to lift £25 from my card - which is reasonable since it had no funds. However, I'm wondering why did it try to lift the cash from the card in the first place, considering my balance was sufficient. The payment has been rescheduled to the 5th, and even though I sent PP two emails in the last 48 hours I got no response. I'd really appreciate if someone here could shed some light on why did my preapproved payment fail. Thanks!
