Hi, I've been having a persistent issue with transferring funds from my Metro Bank account to my Paypal account. I have set up paypal as a payee on my online banking, and have verified with Paypal that the account number, sort code and reference number are all correct. My bank does use the outer faster payment system, and I am able to successfully send payments to other businesses via this method. The payments I make from my online banking leave my account, showing they've gone to paypal but they ping back into my bank account at the end of the working day? I've been on the phone to Metro Bank who have kindly made a conference call to Paypal, but Paypal have yet to provide a reason / solution to my problem. Paypal have suggested other methods but I only wish to transfer funds to my Paypal account directly from my bank account. Paypal have confirmed that there is nothing technically wrong with my paypal account; therefore I should be able to transfer funds via this method but I cannot.
